My First Post!!

Getting a blog up and running is hard work!! I can't wait to share many moments, amazing moments with everyone.  I couldn't feel more blessed and thankful for all of the upcoming opportunities that are ahead! God has truly blessed me beyond belief!

A little bit about me...

I am married to a wonderful man, who loves me for me.  He has been my rock, my support and truly the biggest blessing in my life.  We have been married since 2009 and I can't imagine life without being a Hogsett.  I am a full time stay at home mom of a wild, fun, sweet and always smiling toddler Lila.  She keeps me on my toes big time. We are just the average family, right now the average "military family" but we wouldn't have it any other way.  God has blessed us beyond belief, and without him we wouldn't have the strength, the support and such love in our home.  I began becoming interested in photography or "taking pictures" when I first was able to have a camera.  I LOVE taking pictures, capturing moments to cherish forever.  I have always been known as the "picture freak" always taking pictures and having pictures all over my home.  I am just starting out on this adventure and I am so thrilled to see what the Lord has in store for us.  My biggest dream, my passion is birth photography.  I worked as a nurse with a group of midwives, and fell in love with what they did.  The passion, the love they share with these women is overwhelming.  I believed in them, therefore I gave birth with them.  I had someone snap pictures the entire time, during this hard, tough, physically and emotionally draining process... so I could "always cherish them".. of course the pictures are in a red folder "WARNING" birth photos... but I share them with ALL. Anyone who wants to see, can see... why you ask??? Because they are BEAUTIFUL! Birth is beautiful, and I can't wait to be there with women, capture these moments for them FOREVER!  So for now, here I am just starting out hoping to one day be known as the "Richmond Birth Photographer to hire".   I am learning... I want to capture any moments for you! Birth, maternity, newborn, family, senior, couples, engagement, weddings because I need you to help me learn! (Of course I come at a very cheap fair price... for now :) )
